Do you allow walk-ins?

As we only have two rooms, it will be best to arrange with our management team before any potential guest drives to Mister C and is not able to book a room.

How many rooms are there in total?

We have two en-suite rooms available for general bookings. Should you be interested in renting the entire house for an event we can offer two more rooms with a shared bathroom.

Do we share a kitchen with other guests?

Our rooms are not self-catering. Each room has a private coffee station and minibar fridge for snacks. The only areas guests share are the pool, games, deck and bar area.

Do the rooms have private pools?

Unfortunately not. We only have two rooms, and a spacious pool and deck area - so you will never feel crowded.

Can we bring our small children with us during our stay at Mister C?

Both suites have a sleeper couch in the room. Please keep in mind - the rooms are open plan, so there is no privacy from the main bed. Children under 12 are welcome at an additional charge of R500 for extra bedding. Please note that the property has deep swimming pools and steep stairs. Children should be supervised by a parent or responsible adult at all times. Our staff has various duties and are not always around to keep an eye out.

Can we be three adults in the rooms?

We can accommodate three people in a room. Both suites have a sleeper couch in the room. Please keep in mind - the rooms are open plan, so there is no privacy from the main bed. R500 will be charged for the extra bedding.

Is the bathroom open plan or does it have a door? What kitchen amenities are available? Are any room amenities shared with anyone else?

The bath and shower are part of the open-plan living space, but the toilet has a door. The kitchenette has a minibar fridge, kettle and coffee/tea amenities. The only shared space is the outside pool, deck, bar and games area. Nothing is shared between the two rooms.

Do you have specific rooms which are for guests with pets? I want to bring my pet with me for my weekend away.

Pets are welcome if organised in advance. An additional fee of R300 per pet is applicable. We have other T’s & C’s in this regard - please communicate with the property manager beforehand. Room 2 is a bit more secluded, with a side entrance to the garden. We prefer that guests with pets book this room.

Do you offer room service?

Unfortunately not. Our meals are served in the communal areas (deck or library) depending on the weather.

Is there parking available?

We do have onsite covered parking for our guests.

What is check-in and check-out time?

Check-in time is strictly between 14:00 and 20:00. Check-out time is 10:00 (Penalties for late check-out will be applicable).

I noticed the check-in time is from 14:00. Can we check in anytime from 14:00 to midnight?

Our rooms will be ready any time after 14:00. We prefer that check-in doesn't exceed 18:00. The vibe and views of the dam are best when you can still enjoy the view outside. However, we try and accommodate all our guests - please feel free to contact the property manager if something comes up to delay your check-in time.

Do you offer transport in and around Hartbeespoort?

Transport can be available should it be arranged before your arrival.
